Oklo's ARMEC Acquisition Fuels Nuclear Energy Expansion and Investor Confidence

Oklo has completed its acquisition of ARMEC, a specialist in advanced manufacturing for the nuclear sector. The deal, finalised on 4 June 2026, has already boosted investor confidence, with shares rising by around 4% in Monday’s premarket trading. Analysts see the move as a key step in Oklo’s plans to expand advanced nuclear energy infrastructure.

The acquisition brings roughly 40 nuclear industry experts from ARMEC into Oklo’s team. These professionals add skills in precision machining, rapid prototyping, fabrication, and strategic sourcing. ARMEC’s President, Travis Reagan, highlighted that the deal allows the company to apply its experience toward building manufacturing systems for next-generation nuclear power.

Oklo’s CEO, Jacob DeWitte, explained that the takeover improves control over critical parts of the company’s production process. This aligns with Oklo’s broader strategy to accelerate the deployment of small modular reactors (SMRs) and advanced nuclear technologies. The deal has drawn attention from financial analysts. Tigress Financial’s Ivan Feinseth set a $130 price target on OKLO shares, implying a potential 117% increase. The broader analyst consensus rates the stock as a *Moderate Buy*, with an average target of $90.79—suggesting around 51% upside from current levels. The growing interest in nuclear energy stems partly from its role in supporting AI infrastructure. As data centres demand more reliable power, advanced nuclear solutions are gaining traction among investors.

Oklo’s acquisition of ARMEC strengthens its manufacturing capabilities and adds specialised talent. With shares climbing and analysts projecting further gains, the company is positioning itself as a leader in the U.S. advanced nuclear sector. The deal also reflects wider industry trends linking nuclear power to the expansion of high-demand technologies like AI.
