Nizhny Novgorod's Social Entrepreneurs Invited to Shape Future Support Policies
Social entrepreneurs in Nizhny Novgorod have been invited to share their views on support services. A new survey, running until January 25, 2026, aims to gather feedback on existing measures. The results will help shape future legislative changes in the sector.
The survey is being organised by the Institute for Social and Economic Project Development at HSE. It was commissioned by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives for the Promotion of New Projects. Participants will assess current support systems and suggest improvements for non-state social service providers.
This initiative follows last year's meeting of the State Council Commission's working group on social entrepreneurship. During that session, officials agreed to form an expert council focused on refining laws around social services and entrepreneurship. The survey's findings will contribute to this ongoing effort. However, the exact number of small and medium enterprises in Nizhny Novgorod taking part remains unclear. The deadline for responses is set for late January 2026.
The survey's outcomes will highlight key areas where support for social entrepreneurs could be strengthened. Legislators and agencies will use the data to propose targeted improvements. The final report is expected to guide policy decisions in the coming year.
