Nizhny Novgorod greenlights 310-hectare industrial park in Dzerzhinsk

The Nizhny Novgorod region has approved a new state industrial park in Dzerzhinsk. The site will cover over 310 hectares and sit near the Doskino freight yard for easier transport links. Officials aim to attract businesses, particularly in metalworking, to the upcoming facility. The park's location was chosen for its proximity to a railway line, simplifying logistics for future tenants. Fifteen companies, mostly from the metalworking sector, have already shown interest in relocating there. The site will include full engineering infrastructure to support industrial operations.

This project is part of a broader plan to develop six state-backed industrial parks across the region. Five more are set to open by 2025 in different municipalities. The initiative comes as Nizhny Novgorod holds second place in Russia's national investment climate ranking. The Doskino freight yard's nearby position will help streamline the movement of goods. Regional authorities expect the park to boost local industry and create new job opportunities.

The Dzerzhinsk industrial park will span 310 hectares and host businesses with ready-made infrastructure. With fifteen potential residents already engaged, the project aligns with the region's goal of expanding industrial capacity. The first phase of construction is now set to move forward.
