New Perekrestok supermarket opens in Yakutsk's growing Zvyozdny district
A new Perekrestok supermarket has opened in Yakutsk’s Zvyozdny microdistrict. The store arrives after local residents called for better grocery options in the area. It is the 13th Pyatyorochka outlet in the city, with more planned for the future. The branch is located at 9 Aleksandra Zakharchenko Street in Sector C. This area has seen recent growth, with commercial spaces now leased to businesses by developer RIA. Alongside the supermarket, the microdistrict already has several grocery stores, pickup points, a hair salon, and a bakery.
Perekrestok belongs to the Pyatyorochka chain, a well-known federal grocery retailer. The company aims to expand further in Yakutsk, with plans to open 40 stores across the city in the coming years.
The new supermarket fills a long-requested need for Zvyozdny residents. With this addition, the microdistrict now offers more shopping and service options. Pyatyorochka’s expansion also signals growing retail activity in Yakutsk.
