Ndovu's Kibaba Fund Redefines Diversified Investing in Kenya's Shifting Economy

Ndovu, a financial firm blending blockchain with traditional regulation, has launched the Kibaba Multi-Asset Special Fund. The new offering responds to rising demand for diversified investments in Kenya, where economic shifts and digital growth have reshaped the market. Investors now have access to a structured fund designed to reduce volatility risks while keeping portfolios balanced over the long term.

Founded in 2022 by Radhika Bhachu and Rogito Nyageri, Ndovu aims to unify Kenya's fragmented investment landscape. The platform operates 24/7, combining regulatory oversight with blockchain efficiency to simplify access for investors.

The Kibaba Fund is split into two currency options: US dollars and Kenyan shillings. It targets medium to long-term investors willing to accept moderate risk. Entry points start at KES 250,000 (around US$2,000) for the Kenya Shilling Fund and US$2,500 for the US Dollar Fund. Between 2021 and 2026, Kenya saw a surge in demand for diversified investments. Factors like steady 5% annual growth, inflation above 7%, currency depreciation, and rising interest rates pushed investors toward alternatives. The expansion of digital payments—such as M-Pesa—and relaxed regulations by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) also played a key role. Real estate and agricultural assets gained popularity as investors sought stability beyond traditional stocks and bonds. The Kibaba Fund was designed to meet these changing needs. By pooling assets across different classes, it helps investors avoid impulsive decisions during market swings. The fund's structure ensures continuous exposure to high-quality opportunities, both locally and globally.

The Kibaba Multi-Asset Special Fund arrives as Kenya's investment scene evolves. With lower barriers to entry and a focus on diversification, it offers a regulated path for investors navigating economic uncertainty. The fund's dual-currency setup and long-term approach reflect the shifting priorities of the region's growing investor base.
