Miller Foods Names New CEO as Longtime Leader Capri Brighenti Steps Down
Miller Foods, Inc., based in Avon, Connecticut, has announced a leadership change at the top. Capri Brighenti stepped down as CEO on January 1, 2026, after more than 25 years with the company. Adam DeJulius has taken over as the new CEO and president, marking a shift in the company's executive team.
Brighenti joined Miller Foods over two decades ago, spending the last 15 years in executive leadership. Under her guidance, the company expanded its distribution network and strengthened its national retail and e-commerce presence. She also founded Miller Farms Cares, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which will remain a focus of her efforts.
Though no longer CEO, Brighenti will stay involved with the company. She will continue as a board member while providing procurement consulting and brokerage support. Additionally, she plans to assist with fundraising for Miller Farms Cares.
Adam DeJulius officially began his role as CEO and president on January 1, 2026. His brother, Nick DeJulius, already leads operations at Miller Foods, ensuring a family presence in the company's leadership structure.
The transition sees Brighenti moving into advisory and nonprofit roles while DeJulius takes charge of day-to-day leadership. Miller Foods, Inc. will continue its operations with a new executive team in place. The company's focus remains on growth and community support through initiatives like Miller Farms Cares.
