Klarna and Minor Hotels team up for flexible travel payments in Europe

Klarna and Minor Hotels have joined forces to simplify travel bookings across Europe. The new partnership lets customers pay flexibly when reserving stays at over 640 properties. Travellers can now choose between instant payment or interest-free instalments. The collaboration covers 13 European markets, including Germany, France, and the UK. Other countries in the deal are Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, Finland, and Ireland.

Minor Hotels operates more than 640 hotels, resorts, and branded residences across 63 countries. With Klarna’s payment system, guests can split their booking cost into three interest-free payments. They also retain the option to pay upfront in full.

Raji Behal, Klarna’s Head of Southern and Western Europe, UK & Ireland, highlighted the partnership’s goal. She explained that it would make the booking process smoother by offering flexible payment choices. The new payment options are now live for travellers in the selected markets. Customers booking through Minor Hotels can spread costs without interest or pay immediately. The move aims to provide greater convenience for European holidaymakers.
