Kazakhstan's Master Trainers Forum Redefines Ethical Business Education
The Master Trainers Forum: Next-Level Professional Business Training has begun at Nazarbayev University. Running from February 7 to 8, the event brings together over 80 participants, including business trainers, academics, and industry experts. Organised by the Kazakhstan Association of Business Trainers and Nazarbayev University's Research Center for Entrepreneurship (NURCE), the forum aims to reshape the future of business education in the region.
The forum centres on improving the quality of business education and adapting to shifts in the training services market. Discussions focus on delivering sustainable, long-term outcomes for entrepreneurs rather than short-term gains. A key theme is the integration of personal values and ethics into entrepreneurship, a point emphasised by Shumaila Yousafzai, Director of NURCE and a professor at Nazarbayev University.
Aigerim Tarbagayeva, Head of the Kazakhstan Association of Business Trainers and a researcher at NURCE, also spoke about the evolving role of business trainers. She stressed the need for professionals to develop inner resilience and align their work with a clear sense of purpose. The event draws inspiration from Abai's philosophy of the 'Whole Person', blending traditional wisdom with modern entrepreneurial practices.
Participants include representatives from universities, business schools, and training organisations. The forum is part of broader educational efforts to promote sustainable entrepreneurship across Kazakhstan.
The two-day event highlights the growing demand for ethical and purpose-driven business training. By fostering collaboration between educators, trainers, and industry leaders, the forum seeks to set new standards for professional development in Kazakhstan. Organisers hope the discussions will lead to tangible improvements in how entrepreneurship is taught and practised in the country.
