Kanga Exchange joins UN:BLOCK 2026 to shape Europe's fintech future

Kanga Exchange will take part in the UN:BLOCK blockchain and fintech conference in Riga on 1–2 April 2026. The event is one of Northern Europe's largest gatherings for the industry, with around 2,500 attendees expected this year. Before the conference, the company hosted an exclusive VIP reception for key figures in the sector. The UN:BLOCK conference splits its agenda into two main areas: blockchain technology development and the intersection of fintech with traditional finance. Over 100 speakers will take the stage, including leaders from global companies and public institutions.

Kanga Exchange operates a cryptocurrency platform across Europe, offering both online trading and a network of over 350 physical exchange points. These locations allow users to buy and sell digital assets, including with cash. However, as of April 2026, none of these exchange points are in Latvia, with most situated in Poland and other Eastern European countries.

On 31 March, the company held a closed VIP Cocktail Reception in Riga. The event brought together regulators, legal experts, investors, and founders from the blockchain and fintech sectors. This gathering set the stage for the two-day conference, where discussions will cover the latest trends in digital finance and decentralised technology.

Blockchain events remain a major draw in Europe, with dozens of conferences held each year. Globally, more than 400 Web3 and cryptocurrency-related events take place annually across six continents. Kanga Exchange's participation in UN:BLOCK highlights its growing presence in Europe's blockchain and fintech scene. The conference will provide a platform for networking and discussions on the future of digital assets. With no physical exchange points yet in Latvia, the event may open new opportunities for expansion in the region.
