Jungheinrich Unveils Futuristic Experience Center for Automation and Logistics Tech

Jungheinrich has marked a key milestone with the topping-out ceremony for its new Experience Center in Moosburg. The facility will serve as a year-round hub for showcasing the company's latest automation and warehouse technologies. Local officials and company leaders attended the event to highlight its significance for the region's future.

The new Jungheinrich Experience Center (JEC) will feature three main areas: a 17,000-square-foot 'Material Flow Arena', a brand experience zone, and a five-story office building. This office space will house up to 400 employees from the Automation & Warehouse Equipment division, focusing on robotics, software development, and automated logistics solutions. The company emphasises interdisciplinary teamwork to drive innovation in these fields.

The center will operate as a technological showcase for customers, partners, and prospects throughout the year. Visitors can test, discuss, and refine products in person, while digital tools like livestreaming and 3D simulations will connect global clients to Jungheinrich's portfolio. Sales Board Member Nadine Despineux and Automation Board Member Tobias Harzer will maintain permanent offices at the site.

District Administrator Helmut Petz called the project 'a building block for the future', stressing its role in advancing automation and digitalisation. The investment also brings stability to the region, as both Moosburg plants have avoided job cuts in the company's recent restructuring.

The Experience Center strengthens Jungheinrich's position in automation and warehouse technology. It provides a space for hands-on collaboration while securing local employment. The facility is set to open as a central hub for innovation and customer engagement.
