In-N-Out Burger expands to Tennessee with four new locations by 2026
In-N-Out Burger is bringing its famous burgers to Tennessee for the first time. The company has announced several new locations across the state, with openings planned over the next two years. President Lynsi Snyder is also relocating from California to Tennessee, marking a major shift for the brand. Earlier this year, In-N-Out revealed plans to move its headquarters from Irvine to Baldwin Park, California. But the expansion into Tennessee signals a bigger change. Snyder has cited difficulties with raising a family and running a business in California as key reasons for the move.
Four new Tennessee restaurants are listed as 'opening soon' in Antioch, Lebanon, Franklin, and Murfreesboro. The locations in Lebanon, Antioch, and Murfreesboro are set to welcome customers by the end of 2025. The Franklin branch will follow in early 2026. In addition to the new restaurants, In-N-Out is building a 100,000-square-foot eastern territory office near Nashville, scheduled to open in late 2026. Despite this growth, the company has confirmed it has no plans to expand to Florida or the East Coast. Back in May, In-N-Out also announced seven new U.S. locations, including four in California. The brand continues to balance its long-standing California roots with fresh opportunities in new states.
The Tennessee expansion marks In-N-Out’s first restaurants in the state and a personal move for its president. With multiple openings planned by 2026, the company is setting deeper roots outside California. The new locations will bring its menu to a region that has long awaited the chain’s arrival.
