How Yael Meier's Zeam Agency Bridges the Gap Between Brands and Gen Z

Yael Meier has built a thriving business by helping major brands connect with Generation Z. Her agency, Zeam, uses innovative methods to bridge the gap between companies and young workers. Now, even government bodies and global corporations are turning to her expertise.

Meier launched Zeam in 2020 alongside her partner, Jo Dietrich. Both quickly gained recognition, landing spots on Forbes' '30 Under 30' list. Dietrich's father, Andreas, serves as editor-in-chief of Blick, prompting some to label Meier a 'nepo baby.' She has dismissed such claims as baseless nitpicking.

The agency specialises in corporate seminars styled like speed-dating events. These sessions aim to improve communication between employers and Gen Z, a group known for strict workplace demands. Born between 1995 and 2010, this generation holds significant influence due to low birth rates. They push for digitised hiring, respectful dialogue, and immediate autonomy in their roles.

Zeam's client list now includes heavyweights like Zalando, Warner Bros. Germany, and Porsche. The latter hired the agency to craft a social media campaign targeting STEM talent. Procter & Gamble and Düsseldorf's municipal savings bank have also used Zeam's services. Recently, the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health awarded the agency a CHF 3.05 million contract for a sexual health awareness initiative.

Zeam's approach has proven effective for brands struggling to engage younger audiences. The agency's mix of speed-dating workshops and tailored campaigns continues to attract high-profile clients. With government contracts and corporate partnerships expanding, Meier's model shows no signs of slowing down.
