How RWA Tokenization Is Reshaping Finance and Crypto Markets by 2030

The market for real-world asset (RWA) tokenization is expanding rapidly. Currently valued at around $25 billion, experts predict it could grow to trillions by 2030. Major financial players and blockchain projects are now positioning themselves to take advantage of this trend.

BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, has already entered the space with a tokenized money market fund holding $2 billion in assets. Meanwhile, blockchain projects like Chainlink are developing new tools to support this shift.

Chainlink (LINK) is playing a key role in RWA tokenization by providing reliable pricing data for smart contracts. Its oracle network ensures that blockchain-based assets reflect real-world values accurately. Beyond data feeds, the project is now building interoperability protocols to allow tokenized assets to move seamlessly across different blockchains.

Chainlink previously saw massive growth during the 2019–2021 crypto bull market, climbing from $0.50 to a peak of $52. Analysts now expect it to be among the top-performing cryptocurrencies in 2026, driven by its infrastructure for RWA tokenization.

Other cryptocurrencies linked to this trend include Ethereum, known for secure financial transactions, and Solana, which offers high-speed applications. Bitcoin, the original cryptocurrency, is also entering the space through Layer-2 solutions like Bitcoin Hyper, designed for decentralised finance (DeFi) and tokenization. XRP, meanwhile, could see strong gains from spot ETFs and increased capital inflows, with predictions of a new all-time high above $5.

Among newer projects, Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) stands out. Its Layer-2 solution combines Bitcoin’s security with Solana-like speed, attracting over $30 million in presale funding. Some forecasts suggest it could grow more than tenfold in value.

The push toward RWA tokenization is reshaping both traditional finance and crypto markets. With BlackRock already managing $2 billion in tokenized assets, the sector’s growth appears inevitable. Projects like Chainlink, Ethereum, Solana, and emerging Layer-2 solutions are building the infrastructure to support this transition in the years ahead.
