From £300 to £50K: How Dragons' Den Skyrocketed Flavour Bombs' Success
A small food business launched with just £300 has secured a major investment after appearing on Dragons' Den. Tina Faghihi-Hallam and Olly Hallam, the founders of Flavour Bombs, accepted a £50,000 offer from Peter Jones in exchange for 25% of their company. The deal came after a surge in sales and interest following their TV appearance in early 2025.
Tina and Olly started Flavour Bombs in February 2024 with minimal funds. They built an online following of over 30,000 on TikTok before taking their product to Dragons' Den. On the show, they received offers from three investors: Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman, and Gary Neville.
Within two hours of their episode airing, the couple processed over 5,000 orders, totalling £52,000 in sales. Their website traffic also spiked by 3000%. Prices for their products start at £7.50 for two Flavour Bombs.
Since filming, the business has expanded its workspace to 1,800 sq ft and gained SALSA accreditation. They also secured their first order from Selfridges and plan to launch in Ocado. In their first year, Flavour Bombs exceeded £100,000 in revenue. Now, they aim to triple turnover to between £300,000 and £350,000 by 2025/26.
The company's rapid growth follows a £50,000 investment from Peter Jones. With 90% of sales coming online, Flavour Bombs is now targeting over £100 million in future sales. The founders continue to expand their retail presence while building on their strong digital following.
