Founders share raw truths about selling startups at From Zero Session #2
A new event will dive into the highs and lows of selling a startup and moving on. From Zero Session #2 brings together three experienced founders to discuss their exits, the decisions behind them, and the emotional impact of transitioning away from their companies. The evening will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, offering both structured talks and informal networking opportunities. The session will feature Demetrios Zoppos, Stephanos Stephanov, and Nicholas Andreou—each with firsthand experience of selling their businesses. Zoppos has built and exited multiple companies, including GF-X, onefinestay, and Klevio. Stephanov recently saw his venture, 2050 Materials, acquired by the Once For All Group in November 2025. Andreou’s company, Locum’s Nest, was bought by Aya Healthcare in June of the same year.
Rather than just celebrating success, the event will explore the personal pressures and strategic choices that lead to an exit. It will also examine how founders adjust to life after selling their startups. Michael Hadjijoseph, co-founder of Stagedoor, will guide the discussion as moderator. Attendees can expect a fireside chat with audience questions, followed by drinks and networking. The evening aims to blend honest conversation with opportunities for founders to connect in a relaxed setting.
The event offers a rare chance to hear unfiltered stories from founders who have navigated exits. By sharing their experiences, Zoppos, Stephanov, and Andreou will shed light on both the practical and emotional sides of selling a company. The session will close with networking, allowing participants to discuss the themes in smaller groups.
