Fig Security Raises $38M to Revolutionize Cybersecurity Workflows
A new security platform called Fig Security has launched with $38 million in early funding. Founded in 2025 by veterans of elite Israeli intelligence units, the company aims to fix broken detection and response flows in complex security environments. Its technology automatically maps an organisation's entire security workflow to prevent failures before they happen.
Fig Security was created by Gal Shafir, Nir Loya Dahan, and Roy Haimof—all alumni of Unit 8200 and Mamram. Shafir previously led teams at Siemplify and Google Cloud Security, bringing deep expertise in security operations. The platform emerged from the growing problem of security systems breaking down as digital environments expand in complexity.
The system works across any tech stack, tracing data from its source through to SOAR platforms and AI-driven SOC tools. It alerts teams when changes risk disrupting detection or response capabilities. Before updates go live, Fig Security evaluates fixes to ensure they won't introduce new vulnerabilities.
Backing comes from Team8 and Ten Eleven Ventures, along with investments from prominent security leaders. Ori Barzilay, a partner at Team8, noted that Fig Security fills a critical gap in how organisations maintain resilience in their security operations. The platform's ability to autonomously map and monitor flows sets it apart in a crowded market.
With $38 million secured in Seed and Series A funding, Fig Security is positioning itself as a key player in security operations. The platform's focus on end-to-end data lineage and pre-deployment checks aims to reduce failures in detection and response. Early support from major investors suggests confidence in its approach to solving long-standing security challenges.
