Exfinity Venture Partners targets ₹1,100 crore for its fourth fund amid startup success
Exfinity Venture Partners has filed plans with SEBI to launch its fourth fund, aiming for Rs 1,100 crore in capital. The move comes after strong returns from earlier investments, including a 60X return from adtech startup Pixis in Fund II.
This new fund will focus on cutting-edge sectors like semiconductors, AI, robotics, and quantum computing while keeping its early-stage investment approach.
The firm’s previous funds have seen notable successes. In 2018, it backed Kinara.ai, which was later acquired by NXP Semiconductors. Another early bet, Chara Technologies, also aligned with emerging global market trends. These exits helped build confidence for the new fund.
Fund IV will expand into newer areas such as photonics, life sciences, and advanced computing. Unlike earlier funds, Exfinity plans to hold investments longer, potentially supporting companies up to Series C. A larger portion of capital will also go toward follow-on rounds rather than just initial funding.
To date, Exfinity has invested in around 40 startups. Its third fund alone backed 17 companies, with one more deal still expected before closing.
The new fund builds on Exfinity’s track record of early-stage success and strategic exits. With a broader sector focus and extended investment horizon, it aims to deepen support for high-potential startups. The Rs 1,100 crore target reflects growing confidence in its approach.
