ENTICE 3.0 Launches to Revolutionize Clean Energy Innovation and Storage

The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet has launched ENTICE 3.0, a new initiative to tackle pressing energy challenges. Backed by the government’s Startup India programme, the competition focuses on clean electricity and sustainable innovation. Winners will gain funding, mentorship, and a chance to deploy their solutions in real-world settings with major power distributors.

ENTICE 3.0 is targeting two key areas: non-lithium energy storage systems and AI-powered grid demand forecasting. The programme aims to scale up practical solutions that can reduce carbon emissions and improve energy access.

Selected participants will receive up to $100,000 in technical assistance grants. They will also join a three-day bootcamp featuring mentorship, investor meetings, and networking opportunities. A panel of experts, including Govind Iyer, Alok Kumar, and Ashish Khanna, will evaluate the entries. The Global Energy Alliance, which organises the competition, works to end energy poverty while creating green jobs. Their broader goals include reaching 1 billion people with clean electricity and preventing 4 billion tons of carbon emissions. Applications for ENTICE 3.0 are now open. Top solutions will secure deployment opportunities with BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) and Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL). The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between innovation and real-world implementation in the energy sector.

ENTICE 3.0 provides startups with funding, expert guidance, and a platform to test their ideas. Successful applicants will work directly with major power companies to bring their solutions to market. The programme supports the Global Energy Alliance’s mission to expand clean energy access and reduce emissions.
