Dubai's New Founder Residency Program Aims to Fast-Track Startup Success
Dubai has partnered with global early-stage investor Antler to launch a new founder residency program. The initiative aims to accelerate startup creation and support entrepreneurs from idea development to securing early funding. Applications are now open to founders both in the UAE and globally.
The residency program will be based at Dubai Founders HQ, a central hub launched in October 2025. This platform connects founders with investors and business support services. Antler has also established its UAE headquarters within the same campus to enhance collaboration and investor access.
Participants will receive structured training through Antler's Academy and mentorship from its global network. The partnership involves the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, and Dubai Founders HQ. Together, they plan to upskill over 600 founders and build a pipeline of new startups in the city.
Since 2017, Antler has backed more than 1,000 startups across its global locations. At least three of its portfolio companies, such as Endpoint and Nord Security, have reached unicorn status. The program aligns with Dubai's D33 strategy, which aims to scale 30 unicorns and reinforce the city's role as a leading global innovation hub.
The residency program will help founders refine their ideas and access pre-seed funding. With a focus on rapid growth and investor connections, the initiative is set to bolster Dubai's startup ecosystem. Over 600 founders are expected to benefit, contributing to the city's goal of becoming a top global hub for entrepreneurs.
