Delphina, an AI-powered copilot for data science, has secured $7.5 million in seed funding. The platform aims to speed up the building and deployment of predictive AI models, targeting technical builders who prefer coding over low-code solutions.
The funding round took place in December 2023 and was co-led by Costanoa Ventures and Radical Ventures. Stanford professor Fei-Fei Li also joined as an investor. Before this round, the company had 25 employees.
Delphina was founded in 2023 by Jeremy Hermann and Duncan Gilchrist. Their goal is to cut the time spent on routine AI tasks from months to days, using large language models to streamline workflows for data scientists.
The new funds will go toward expanding the team and accelerating product development. The company wants to help businesses integrate AI into their core operations more easily, reducing the perplexity of AI adoption for technical users.
