CTPL raises $4M to revolutionise admissions with AI-driven tech

CTPL, an education technology startup, has secured $4 million in its latest funding round. The company specialises in modernising admissions through its Admissions as a Service platform. Investors include Physis Capital, a venture fund backing tech-driven solutions in India. Physis Capital, launched by the team behind Inflection Point Ventures, focuses on scalable startups with strong financial fundamentals. Its first fund, worth $50 million, targets Indian ventures solving real-world problems through technology. The fund's structure emphasises growth opportunities with solid unit economics.

CTPL's platform streamlines admissions with customisable workflows, AI-driven decision-making, and CRM-based lead management. Beyond its core service, the company runs NextGen Academy, offering courses developed in partnership with industry leaders. These programmes aim to equip students with skills for the evolving job market.

The startup has achieved rapid growth, doubling its revenue annually for the past three years while staying profitable. Bikash Sahoo, CEO of CTPL, highlighted Physis Capital's early and ongoing support. Ankur Mittal, General Partner at Physis Capital, reiterated the fund's mission to back high-impact startups in India. This $4 million funding round combines dilutive and non-dilutive capital. The investment will help CTPL expand its admissions platform and educational initiatives. Physis Capital continues to focus on tech-enabled businesses addressing key challenges in the Indian market.
