Crown Point Energy secures $30M in fixed-rate notes for US expansion

Crown Point Energy Inc. has issued USD 30.0 million in Series IX secured fixed-rate notes. The company will use the funds for corporate activities and asset development in the USA. The notes carry a fixed annual interest rate of 10.75%.

The Series IX Notes were issued in two parts. A total of USD 5,403,000 replaced existing Series V notes, while the remaining USD 24,597,000 was sold for cash, payable in Argentine Pesos. Repayments will begin on October 30, 2026, spread over ten equal instalments, with the final payment due on January 30, 2029. Interest payments will be made quarterly.

The notes are secured by a pledge on crude oil sales from three of Crown Point's concessions. This issuance brings the company's total outstanding notes to USD 78,780,058, including USD 1,780,058 in Series V, USD 22,000,000 in Series VI, and USD 25,000,000 in Series VII.

The proceeds from the Series IX Notes will support Crown Point's operations and expansion in the USA. The structured repayment plan and fixed interest rate provide clarity on the company's financial obligations over the next three years.
