BWP Trust launches $228M entitlement offer to fuel expansion plans

BWP Trust (BUNNF) has announced plans to raise around $228 million through a fully underwritten entitlement offer. The move aims to fund future growth while giving existing security holders the chance to take part proportionally. This follows a period of strong capital deployment by the company over the last two years. The trust has actively managed its capital in recent times. In the past 24 months, it completed a $517 million acquisition and a $143 million internalisation and lease reset. These steps have already strengthened the balance sheet and delivered value for security holders.

The new entitlement offer will allow investors to maintain their current stake while contributing to the company’s expansion. BWP Trust has structured the raise as a pro rata offer, ensuring fairness for all participants.

In a separate statement, the trust also acknowledged the traditional owners of land across Australia. It paid respect to their elders, both past and present. The $228 million raise is set to provide further support for BWP Trust’s growth plans. With recent deployments already improving financial stability, the company now looks to build on this momentum. Security holders will have the opportunity to participate in the next phase of expansion.
