Blank Spare Content Studios shuts down after one transformative year

Blank Spare Content Studios on Portland Street will close its doors this week. The decision comes as founders Leeson and Brown shift their focus to individual business ventures. Both have chosen to step away rather than compromise on the studio's original vision.

The studio first opened last year as a flexible space for content creation and brand events. It featured five adaptable zones, including a TikTok Live suite and a dedicated podcast studio. Over time, however, the project evolved into a more community-driven space than initially planned.

Leeson and Brown described the studio as a valuable learning experience. They expressed pride in the creative content produced and the community built around it. Despite this, they decided to close the venue to avoid diluting its core purpose.

Both founders have thanked Bruntwood SciTech for their partnership and ongoing support. Looking ahead, Brown will return to marketing consultancy, specialising in strategy, storytelling, and growth for founders and brands. Meanwhile, Leeson will concentrate on their own business interests. Brown also left the door open for potential future collaborations.

The closure marks the end of a short but active chapter for Blank Spare Content Studios. Leeson and Brown will now pursue separate professional paths, each focusing on their own expertise. The studio's final week of operation concludes a project that adapted and grew beyond its original scope.
