Bitcoin's Unusual On-Chain Signal Hints at a 2026 Market Bottom

Bitcoin’s price has hovered around the high $70,000 mark for the past week, struggling to break past key resistance levels. At present, it stands at $75,269, a slight drop of 2.84% over the last seven days. Meanwhile, an unusual on-chain indicator is now pointing to a potential bottom for the cryptocurrency. The metric in question tracks the ratio between two realised prices: the 0-10 year range and the 6-month to 10-year range. Currently, the 0-10y Realized Price sits at $64,412, while the 6m-10y Realized Price is at $60,316. Their ratio now stands at 0.936.

Historical data shows that when this ratio dips below 0.936 and then recovers, it has often marked Bitcoin’s lowest point in past market cycles. If this pattern holds, the next bottom could arrive between mid-to-late July 2026. On the price front, Bitcoin has failed to reclaim the $82,000 level since mid-May. However, the $76,000 mark has acted as steady support for three consecutive weeks, keeping the cryptocurrency within a tight trading range.

The current on-chain signal suggests a possible bottom in mid-to-late 2026, assuming past trends repeat. For now, Bitcoin remains trapped between $76,000 support and $82,000 resistance. Traders will be watching whether the ratio’s behaviour aligns with previous cycles in the coming months.
