Between The Bridges partners with SumUp for seamless 2026 season payments
Between The Bridges has teamed up with SumUp to become its official payment partner. The deal, starting with the 2026 season on April 30, includes naming rights—renaming the venue Between The Bridges Powered by SumUp. The partnership aims to streamline transactions for the site’s 50 independent traders and creative businesses. The collaboration will see SumUp’s Solo card readers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and QR code payment technology rolled out across the venue. These tools will allow traders to accept contactless payments and manage sales more efficiently.
Pierre Lion, SumUp’s Global Director of Enterprise Sales, highlighted the deal’s focus on supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs. The company previously secured a similar role as the official payment processor for the O2 venue. Marcus Weedon, Co-Founder and Director of Between The Bridges, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming 2026 season. The partnership marks a step toward modernising payment options for visitors and vendors alike.
The venue will now operate under the name Between The Bridges Powered by SumUp. Traders will gain access to faster, contactless payment solutions from the season’s opening. The move follows SumUp’s expanding presence in large-scale event and retail partnerships.
