Aventum Group acquires Post & Co to expand marine insurance expertise in Europe

Aventum Group has acquired Post & Co, a long-established marine insurance specialist. The deal strengthens Aventum’s position in Europe while adding expertise in underwriting and broker networks. Post & Co will join Aventum’s managing general agent platform, Rokstone, but keep its current leadership team in place. Founded over a century ago, Post & Co brings deep experience in marine underwriting and claims services. The company also connects Aventum to around 250 brokers across Europe and Asia, expanding its reach in key markets.

The acquisition aligns with Aventum’s focus on capability-led growth rather than rapid scaling. It opens doors to new European hubs, including Rotterdam, Groningen, Antwerp, and Frankfurt. These locations will support the group’s push into continental Europe while maintaining smooth operations.

Aventum already operates in specialty insurance markets in the UK, North America, and Asia. By integrating Post & Co, the company aims to accelerate regional expansion and explore further opportunities in other specialty insurance segments. The deal bolsters Aventum’s marine insurance capabilities and extends its broker network. Post & Co’s expertise and market access will help drive growth across Europe. The company’s leadership will remain unchanged as it transitions into Aventum’s Rokstone platform.
