100X.VC has unveiled its 11th cohort of early-stage startups at a high-profile event in Mumbai. The venture capital firm selected 17 companies from a pool of over 1,500 applicants. These new additions were announced during the VC Pitch Day held on June 1, 2024. Founded in 2019 by Sanjay Mehta, Ninad Karpe, Shashank Randev, Yagnesh Sanghrajka, and Vatsal Kanakiya, 100X.VC specialises in backing startups at their earliest stages. The firm stands out as the first in India to use iSAFE Notes for investments, a model designed to simplify funding for new businesses.
The 17 startups in Class 11 include Anyway.ai, Baylink, Deepvue.tech, EasyReplenish, FUTR Studios, GoCodeo, Hummsa Biotech, Kroto, Openleaf, Origgo, Orbit Wallet, Pet Chef, Pettle, The Naturik Co, Whitetable, Zircle, and Zafo Technologies. These companies operate across various sectors and are spread across eight Indian cities, such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi. The VC Pitch Day in Mumbai drew over 400 investors, ranging from high-net-worth individuals to family offices, venture capital funds, and corporate representatives. Mehta Ventures, through its Family Office Investment arm, also sponsored the event. Since its launch in July 2019, 100X.VC has made a total of 161 investments in early-stage ventures.
The latest cohort brings 100X.VC’s total number of funded startups to 161. The selected companies will now receive support and capital to scale their operations. This batch further strengthens the firm’s role in nurturing innovation across India’s startup ecosystem.
